Texas Reds

Our family had a blast today at the 2nd Annual Texas Reds Festival in downtown Bryan. From funnel cakes, pickles, sausage on a stick, snow cones and beef tips to sand, jump houses and petting zoos the boys had such a blast!! (And yes we ate it all). I think that the animals & snow cones were the biggest hit!! Enjoy the pics of the boys petting the animals! I took down the number of the people who own these sweet animals because they would make an awesome 2nd birthday party--if it doesn't cost an arm & leg!!

Dumbo

Poor Hudson has a big, red swollen ear. I picked him up today from Mothers Day Out and noticed his ear was really red. I examined it and it took little time to see that it was 1 1/2 to 2 times the size of the other ear. Poor little guy. I took him straight to Urgent Care and the Dr said that it was a most likely a bug bite and that the ear tended to swell easily. I don't think the pictures do justice to how it really looked. So, our sweet boy now looks like Dumbo!! We are glad its temporary for his sake.
PS--It does't seem to hurt, he just rubs it now and again like it is itching The 1st picture is of his normal ear to compare.

The Danger of Silence

Jackson was behaving so well this afternoon in his room I became worried. I went to check on him and found a big suprise. He had gotten a box of corn staech I keep with the diapers for really bad diaper rashes and shook it all over himself, the dresser and floor. It was pretty funny but a huge mess. When Hudson saw him he started crying because he was scared of him!!! I am always on my toes.

Happy Fathers Day!!

Happy Fathers Day to our daddy--for being the bast dad & loving us unconditionally. I am amazed at his patients and love for our boys and want to wish him a very Happy Day!! Thanks also to my Dad--for loving me and loving my boys! And to Daddy Mike--tahtnks for raising such a great son!!!

Just Because

Not for the weak of stomache

The boys and I had the opportunity to go to Fort Worth to go to my cousin Davids graduation!! Congrats Big D!!!! We went with my parents and had a good time except for the lovely food posioning the boys and I got Friday night. Thanks to McD's nuggets the boys and I had vomitting & dihrrea in a hotel room--YUCK. Thank goodness for my parents. My dad made a Wal Greens run at 4 am and my mom held a sick vomitting baby and changed about 25 poopy diapers since my stomache was also upset. Let me tall you, it is hard to have sick kids, be sick and have morning sickness all in a hotel. Hopefully our next trip will not be so entertaining!!
