Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep

I have enjoyed going into the boys bedroom at night and watching them sleep. They look so peaceful and quiet which is a rare exception. Tonight Hudson was fussing so I went in to check on him and found Jackson sitting up sleeping in his bed. At first I was afraid he might be dead, but then I touched him and realized he was still breathing!! Hudson was crying because he wanted to watch his Baby Aggie movie, which his daddy was very pleased about (no he did not get to watch it at 8:45pm)!! My boys are growing up before my eyes, we are going to buy a bunk bed for their room tomorrow. I can not beleive they eill be two in less then 2 weeks!!

We love Hats

The boys have really started to do some pretty funny things. They really like to play dress up by putting on clothes, shoes and hats. This week while they were sick I found them playing with cars in hats. I thought it was pretty cute so I thought I would share some pictures with you.

Under the Weather

The boys both have the upper respiratory crud. They are on nebulizer treatments and steroids. Both boys have had fever and tonight Hudson started puking due to the ever present cough. I am exhausted and was really looking forward to Mothers Day Out tomorrow, but I guess that won't be happening. On the bright side I will have a fun day with two snuggly boys!! I am attaching some pics of the boys with their Honey, Pappadeaux, MowMie & PAwPAw at the farm.

Hudson has gained weight!!

Hudson saw the pedi GI Doc this past Wednesday and he had gained almost 3 pounds--which might be a slight discrepency in sclaes, but all looked good! I am so glad that the Doctor isn't concerned and that he is finally gaining weight! Maybe he will be 23 lbs by his 2nd birthday. Jackson is doing great and has to weigh a ton because he is so much heavier then his brother. They are such sweet little guys and are really enjoying playing together. Their Mothers Day Out teacher said that they are always looking for one another and get concerned if they don't see the other one. I hope it continues like this for life!!

Weight Issues

Hudson has had allergies/cold this week and has had a hard time sleeping. Being an exhausted mom I decided to take him to see his pediatrician to make sure it wasn't an ear infection. His ears checked out well, but his weight is am issue. He will be 24 months next month and only weighed 20 lbs 2 oz, fully dressed with shoes and a wet diaper. He has lost almost a pound in the last 5 months. The doctor put him on an anthistimine(?SP) that also increases the appetite and also gave us a consult to see the pedi GI doctor. The GI Doc will check to make sure is intestines are absorbing nutrients properly. Most likely he is just a scrawny 2 year old, but we want to help him chub up!! Please keep Hudson in your prayers! As for Jackson, he is a chunk, he weighed 24 lbs on my sclae and loves all snacks! He now has a runny nose also. Baby Grayson has given me a few contractions today, so I am off to rest.

1st Day of Scool 2008

The boys started Mothers Day Out today! They actually went last year too, but I did not think about taking their oicture then. They looked so cute all dressed up with their backpacks on! Hudson was not phased bt me leaving but JAckson had big crocodile tears. He had stopped crying by the time I made it down the hall! I am going to take a picture in front of the front door each year on the 1st day of school so I can watch how they grow from year to year!!

Go Tigers & Aggies!!

My parents cane down this past weekend and the boys watched the LSU game with their Pappadeaux, Honey, Cousin David, Emily & Joey. We then headed out to Kyle field for the Aggie Festivities. THey did change thier shirt to A & M when their Daddy got home and saw the Tiger they had on!!

Big Boy Bed

We tried out the big boy bed a couple of weeks ago in preperation for getting rready for baby brother Greyson (yes we decided on a name!!!). The boys lasted 15 minutes before we heard them crying. I went in to see Hudson on top of Jackson trying to wrestle! Back to the cribs tehy went!!
